There are total 10 unique VDB explosions in the asset. Each numbered from 1 to 10. Just drag and drop the Blueprint from the "Blueprints" folder to use it inside any scene.
After dragging in the scene, select the Blueprint from the level editor and in the details panel select the "Heterogeneous Volume" component to change the FPS of the VDB. or Open the blueprint and select the "Heterogeneous Volume" component and under "Animation" category you can change the frame rate. Also play/ pause the VDB or change looping behaviour.
Under "Sparse Volume Texture Streaming" Category we can set the "Mip level" for the VDB to make it more performant. Lower value will look best but higher value will increase performance. If the explosion takes longer to load, it will automatically load a lower quality to increase performance We can manually override this by checking "Issue Blocking Request" and setting "Mip Level" .
To scale the VDB we can just select the Blueprint in the level editor and scale it normally. Origins of the VDB are preadjusted according to the Blueprint.
Each VDB has a material assigned. All materials can be found in the "Materials" folder. Some coloured variation of the materials can be found in the "Demo/Materials" folder. By changing the material properties we can change the Density, Emission, Temperature and colour of the VDB.
ALBEDO :
Albedo Colour : Changes the base colour or smoke colour of the VDB. (To change the emission colour as well we need to check "Use emission Colour" property under "Emission" and then change the emission colour ).
DENSITY :
Remap Density Values : To change the range of Density in the VDB.
Density : Increases or decreases the Density of the VDB ( 0 means no density and 10 is Max Density)
EMISSION :
Remap Emission Values : To change the range of Emission in VDB.
Emission Temperature : Changes the temperature of the explosion with respect to the density.
Emission Amount : Will change the intensity of the emission.
Use Emission Colour : Turn on the check box to active a colour property for emission
Use Emission Colour : To change the colour of the emission.
